Top online ways to give free charity and end poverty

Internet has revolutionized the way we live and connect to others but there are millions of others who are not as fortunate as us , people who are living under poverty and people who are still unable to get basic necessities of life like Food, water and Shelter. This post is dedicated to all those unfortunate people and how we as human being can help them by giving few minutes from our busy life.

1.Save the Children Campaign:

Every 20 seconds, a child is dying in India due to diseases like diarrhea and pneumonia which are easily preventable. These children are dying even before they are five year old. To stop this needless loss of lives, a non-governmental organization (NGO) – SAVE THE CHILDREN- has launched its campaign “NO Child Born to Die” few days before.
The campaign aims to create a people’s movement to demand better healthcare facilities for every mother and child by increasing the share of budget allocation for healthcare to 5% of GDP, from the current 1.1%.

How we can help them?

This campaign is looking for people’s support, people who want Government to increase the healthcare spending. If you are among those and support this noble cause, help this NGO by taking the pledge on their website. Sadly a spam message on Facebook get millions of hits in just single day but till now they have registered just 20160 supporters.

2.Donate Free Rice with freerice.com

Another way to do good and having fun at the same time is to visit FreeRice.com and help the unfortunate. On FreeRice – answer one of the multiple choice questions correctly on topics such as English Vocabulary, Geography or chemistry and the site’s sponsors will donate 10 grains of rice to the U.N. World Food Programme. It doesn’t sound like a major act of charity — but so many people answer so many questions that the site is responsible for the donation of hundreds of millions of grains of rice every month. That’s enough to make a major difference for tens of thousands of hungry people in Haiti and other countries that need help.

Bhookh.com

Hunger is no.1 cause of Death in India. 7000 die everyday. Bookh.com – A project supported by United Nations is feeding chronically hungry Indians using the power of Internet.Donate without money with one click. This website works on the principle of “Click to Donate” where site gets sponsorship from advertisers in return for delivering users who will see their advertisements. Bhook.com encourages visitors to click a button on the site, once per day asserting that each unique click results in a donation of one cup of staple food to poor through  UN.

FreeHungerSite.com -

Freehungersite.com  is another website which also works on the principle of “Click to Donate”  and they donate 1.1 cup of food per click. The Hunger Site is not a charity; it is a for-profit corporation which donates the revenue from its advertising banner to selected charities. Currently, they are donating food to Americans only
